Why we started
The future of work is rapidly evolving, and our education system must keep pace. Our founders offer unique insights—from firsthand experience with Africa's education system, to leading transformative educational projects, to over 20 years of industry expertise. Recognizing that many children lack access to quality STEM education—a factor that contributes to the outsourcing of high-skilled jobs—we launched Sinapse to introduce students to engaging STEM concepts early on so they are motivated to pursue hard sciences later on. We remain committed to making education accessible, affordable, and contextually relevant.

The Idea Takes Shape
Conceived the idea of creating hands-on programming tools for kids. Initial designs used aluminum and plastic for a robust feel. Early prototypes included an RC car and modular kits with RJ45 ports.
Shifted from aluminum to acrylic due to weight and joinery issues. Improved aesthetics but faced challenges in durability and scalability. Tested the MVP with children from Watoto Church, gathering crucial feedback.
We Fail Fast, We Fix faster
Back to the Drawing Board
Moved from acrylic to molded plastic for better manufacturing scalability. Redesigned the "brain" to be smaller, more powerful, and safer. Selected for the Helsinki Edtech Incubator and secured Letters of Intent (LOIs).
Received Business Finland eligibility statement to establish HQ in Finland. Started production for mass rollout of the product. Preparing for official launch and future AI-powered learning integration.
We Learned, We Leveled Up
Evolving with Tommorow in Mind
Our vision for the future includes integrating AI into the kit to enhance learning experiences. We also plan to introduce solar-powered kits, making the product more sustainable and accessible. Additionally, we aim to expand our range with more robotics concepts, offering diverse curriculum that fosters creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills.
